I have always loved food since a very young age, and would cook with my mum from the age of three. I always wanted to work in catering. I studied Hospitality Management at University, along with working in all types of restaurants and cafes to gain cooking experience. I went travelling in my 20s and cheffed the whole time! it was a great life experience. I returned and got into event catering. I was the kitchen manager in a fab Bristol event catering company and then decided to go alone in 2007 and set up Kate's Kitchen - I have never looked back.
