A bit about me...

Family is everything, ive been married for 24 years with 2 beautiful daughters.  I love my job, my family and absolutely love to travel.  I have been to some amazing places in the world and love to share my experiences.  Travel is my life.

A bit more about me

What's the most enjoyable thing about your work?
Hearing from a client that they have had the most amazing holiday when they return.

What is your vision for your business?
To have my daughter work with me (she is currently doing a travel apprenticeship) and eventually take the business over when I retire, but as I love my job so much that might be a while! My vision for the year ahead is very clear, increase profit and turnover, gain more knowledge and increase my Corporate Travel. Focus on month by month goals.

If you could give one single piece of advice to a new start up business, what would it be?
Join a networking group that is right for you.

Which business person or company do you admire most and why?
Our very own CEO Steve Byrne, he is a caring, supportive, knowledgeable man who has created such an amazing environment for all of us at TC. Our wellness is at the heart of the business taking care of us all.

What made you join WMB and how do you plan to make the most of the network?
WMB just sat right for my business, the times suits and the format is great. I make sure I attend every meeting as it is just as important as meeting a client. I build relationships with other memebers and this is key to networking success so you can referral others and recommend others on and by this they will do the same back. It all takes time.

What do you do at week-ends?
All about the family and relaxing and socialising - watching my daughter play Rugby and having family meals.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what 2 luxury items would you take?
Sun cream and a towel- I'd be very happy!

What book are you currently reading?
Simon Reeve

What book(s) would you recommend?
Kate Allatt - Running Free and Katie Piper books, such incredible women

Who's your personal hero and why?
Lewis Hamilton, his career has been truly incredible. He had a vision and has achieved such great things.

What is your worst experience in business or work?
The dreaded Pandemic- it literally broke me but I'm back and will never be broken again!

What was your first ever job?
working in a local supermarket on the tills.

Where is your favourite place in the world and why?
Well this is hard as I have travelled a lot and each place holds a different meaning and value, Cyprus is where my heart is as we were Married there, however Croatia is a special place in Europe and worldwide, probably Turks and Caicos for the most beautiful beach I have ever seen
