Merry Moos Farm Wellbeing Project CIC

I'm trying to establish a working wellbeing care farm on the outskirts of Taunton to assist the people of Somerset

A bit about me...

Up until 2021 I Had been running my livestock business as a female farmer due to a bump in my road resulting in me losing my business that I had started in 1997 from stratch, going from indenpentant to unemployed and losing a roof over my head. I had suffered my own wellbeing issue as a result I had wrote a book called humourous tales of the farm and self published it, and started Merry Moos CIC. With the one aim and that was to help other people going through a wellbeing issue. I had been so fortunate to run a tenant farm working outdoors no two days were the same. The journey I have been on to get to this point has been a rocky one I have had to learn as I went along making loads of mistakes which I have learnt by. Many people thought I was totally crazy trying to find the funding to purchase a farm. Never tell a woman that it can not be done because it made this one even more determined to prove everyone wrong.  Having found farms only to lose them because I could not find the funding and then last November I found an ideal farm in Bridgewater I worked my socks off to find the funding and then in October I managed to find a different broker in London who had worked with CIC and having submitted my Business plan after a nervous wait of 3 days it came back they would go 75% due to the strong income streams that were within the plan.  So it then just required me to locate the other 25% which was proving to be interesting. I even tried the bank of Dave in the North I contracted everyone and their uncle in this country.  Someone suggested I try Chat Gtp5 I affraid I'm a bit of a dinosaur so I started to write using it to foundation and organisation aboard. Unfortunately 2 people stepped in and one came as a cash buyer so I had little choice but to step back. I then managed to find this other farm on the outskirts of Taunton I need to demonstrate to the land agent that provisonal I can demonstrate that I have the 25%. To be able to view this farm I wrote before christmas to two underwriters regarding a in priniple bond without committing us to taking it out at this stage but it would allow me to view. I also am waiting on a couple of other firms to come back in the New Year.  I'm to passionate and pig headed to give up I just need to find investors that care about well-being and who are prepared to get onboard with Merry Moos.
