It’s been another jam-packed 6 months for the Pink Spaghetti Weston-super-Mare team. From personal celebrations such as exam results, to professional achievements such as working with our first international client - I often wonder how we’ve managed to fit it all in. But - like the masters of organisation we are - we manage!
As we finished July 2025, several of the team (including myself) were anxiously awaiting GCSE results for our teens. I’m pleased to say that the results were what we all hoped for, and they’re all now settled in college and 6th form. At the other end of the school scale, Cherry waved her little one off to school for the very first time in September. Elsewhere in the team, we also had another exam success as Katie passed her Level 2 Women's Artistic Gymnastics Coach qualification!
One of the things I love most about our team is the wonderful dynamic we have. Despite all working from home, and having never all met face-to-face, there is a real camaraderie and team spirit that I feel really shines through in the work we complete for our clients. We make time for our monthly team meeting, quarterly marketing team meetings, and, of course, celebrated Christmas with a delicious team lunch (minus Maria, who stayed safely at home!)
We’ve loved supporting our clients in 2025. One of the wonderful things about our business is that we truly become part of the team, meaning that when our clients celebrate successes, we’re celebrating along with them! This really shows when clients win awards (both local and national), or when they celebrate business milestones - one client recently shared that her business has tripled in size!
We all waited eagerly to hear that one client had had her baby safely, and supported her in preparing for, and enjoying, maternity leave without too much stress.
Some we’ve helped with one-off projects such as creating a leaflet for advertising, others we help on an ongoing basis with a wide range of tasks.
The most popular tasks among clients continue to be inbox management and social media content creation - who wouldn’t want to have their inbox professionally organised? We have also seen a shift to people who want a bit more strategic help - either with their marketing or in terms of their efficiency. We love working with those clients to really hone in on what they want and need, and ensure we’re meeting that criteria.
We have also definitely seen an increase in clients needing support with finance admin - uploading receipts, chasing invoices etc. Think of us as your back office support, bridging the gap between you and your accountant. We can get all your paperwork in order, so your accounts are a little less stressful for both of you!
We also love a bit of the personal touch and know just how important customer service is for a small business, and are excited to have recently taken on some work supporting clients with exactly that. Managing appointments, booking in customer meetings, and responding to customer enquiries as they come in means that we can support you to do what you enjoy most in your business.
Resilience and perseverance have been the keywords of the last 12 months, as well as having a nose for any opportunities out there. 2025 was a challenging year for many businesses, so I think anyone who has survived to tell the tale deserves a pat on the back!
By focusing on what we do best, keeping great relationships with our clients, and continuing to show up as a team, Pink Spaghetti Weston-super-Mare has not only survived 2025, but is heading into 2026 (and our 6th anniversary of the business) with renewed energy and hopefully a great year ahead of us.
